Announcement from Dr Rory Egan
It is with mixed emotions that I announce that I am no longer able to work as a general practitioner. Due to a decline in my vision, medical specialists have advised that I am no longer able to continue practising medicine. Like you, this news came as a shock to me and I am deeply saddened to end my medical career in this way.

New Saturday appointments are now available to our patients with increased availability. Note: These appointments require an out-of-pocket fee.
Transitioning to Mixed-Billing
For 25 years, Redland Bay Surgery provided bulk-billed care. Starting July 1, 2021, it transitions to mixed-billing due to rising costs and static Medicare rebates.
